Early Years

Welcome to GAISR Early Years!

We are thrilled to welcome your young explorer to a nurturing environment where learning happens through a structured, play-based, and inquiry-driven approach. At GAISR, we guide children to become independent thinkers, confident learners, and compassionate future leaders.

In Kindergarten One (KG1), children begin their learning journey at 3 years old. At this stage, they engage in hands-on exploration, discovery, and play, helping them to build curiosity, creativity, and an early love for learning. Through social interactions and guided reflection, they develop essential communication and self-regulation skills.

In Kindergarten Two (KG2), children start at 4 years old. Building on their foundational experiences, students begin to take more academic and personal initiative. They explore reading readiness, pre-writing skills, and foundational mathematical concepts—all while continuing to grow socially and emotionally. Risk-taking, curiosity, and collaboration are encouraged every step of the way.

In Kindergarten Three (KG3), children begin at 5 years old and prepare for a smooth transition into Grade 1. At this stage, academic expectations increase with focused development in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry skills. A second language is introduced, and students use technology to enhance their understanding of the world around them. They take greater ownership of their learning, practicing reflection, responsibility, and leadership through their daily experiences.

At GAISR, the Early Years program is designed to empower each child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally—laying a strong foundation for success in the years ahead.
